How to Join

To be eligible for Independence Center, you need to be:

  • Currently diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness
  • 18 years of age or older

Because membership in Independence Center's clubhouse program is voluntary, we invite you to start your orientation with a tour. Tours can be scheduled Monday - Friday by calling 314-533-4245. After touring, if you are interested in participating, we will ask you to complete a brief screening questionnaire. Please contact our information line at (314) 533-4163 to leave a message and a member of the Screening & Enrollment team will return your call.
