At Independence Center, we know how employment plays a central role in life and helps form a person’s sense of identity and self-worth. In addition to financial independence, work gives us purpose and connects us to those around us.
Independence Center’s Clubhouse, a psychosocial rehabilitation program, partners with top St. Louis corporations and business owners to help meet their employment needs. Their employment programs are designed to remove obstacles and provide individualized support so members find success on the job.
We're grateful for our partners' support and excited about continued collaborations. Special thanks to: Barnes Jewish Hospital, CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center), Chase Park Plaza, Clean Uniform, Equifax, Forest Park Forever, Gateway Arch and Riverboats HomeGoods, RxOutreach, Swiss American and Trinity Church. |

INDEPENDENCE CENTER REPRESENTED AT ART IN BLOOM
|
Art in Bloom, the St. Louis Art Museum’s annual celebration of flowers and fine art features dozens of works from the Museum’s collection as imaginatively interpreted through floral design by the region’s most talented florists.
Many thanks to Robert, Kelly, Michelle, Sadie, Shannon, Milana, and Joe who designed a beautiful creation on behalf of Independence Center. It feels great to support the Arts in our community -- and this event always is a lovely reminder that Spring is just around the corner. |

About the design: The artistic style of the 15th century, Pair of Doors, originated from Santa Isabel convent in Toledo, Spain. The pink king protea serves as the center point of our design. Expanding outward, the lily starfighter represents purity and peace between the Spanish and Christian cultures. This lazo of bromeliads consists of interlocking ten-pointed stars and the outline of blue thistle reflects rebirth while the orange roses depict the heart. |
