At Independence Center Health Group, we provide compassionate, individualized psychiatric care focused on recovery, wellness, and whole-person health. Our experienced team of nurse practitioners, Washington University psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and support staff work together to help individuals achieve greater psychiatric stability, improved physical health, and a higher quality of life.

We recognize that every person’s journey is unique. Many of the individuals we serve come with diverse life experiences, medical conditions, and personal challenges. That is why our care is collaborative and tailored to each individual’s needs. We partner closely with patients, families, medical providers, and community support teams to ensure care is coordinated, effective, and grounded in dignity and respect.

Psychiatric assessment

Treatment planning
Treatment planning is done in conjunction with the patient and others involved in their care. The focus is on recovery and wellness and thus is holistic in nature.
Medication management
We provide ongoing assessment, monitoring, and prescription of medications.
Individual & Group Counseling
Individual and group therapy is provided by licensed clinical social workers. Patients can be referred by their doctor or social worker.
Health Monitoring & Education
We bring a holistic approach to care by monitoring health measures at each visit and providing health information and referrals for physical health needs.

We also offer innovative treatment options such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato (esketamine) for individuals experiencing treatment-resistant depression.
