The 2023 Dancing With The St. Louis Stars event was a huge success! We’re still celebrating the success of this year’s Dancing with the St. Louis Stars event held January 14, 2023, at the Ritz-Carlton which raised over $713,000 in support of Independence Center. Proceeds from Dancing with the St. Louis Stars allow Independence Center to continue its mission of restoring lives by providing a comprehensive system of high-quality programs and services to people with serious and persistent mental illnesses.

St. Louis Business Leaders Help Raise Over $700,000 at Independence Center’s 15th Annual Dancing with the St. Louis Stars Event

Independence Center Unveils New ADA Ramp And Welcome Center

ST. LOUIS – Independence Center, a nonprofit committed to helping those with chronic mental illness, has unveiled its new ADA ramp and Welcome Center. Financial Executives International (FEI) Donates $5,000 to Independence Center

St. Louis, MO (May 31, 2022) The St. Louis Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI) hosted their annual golf tournament at Forest Park Golf Course and raised $5,000 for Independence Center. They chose Independence Center as their charity of choice because of its mission of providing innovative, quality programs that help more than 1,500 individuals with serious and persistent mental illnesses each year. “We are so honored to have been chosen as the FEI’s St. Louis Chapter charity of choice,”

Independence Center Builds New ADA Ramp to Promote Inclusion and Accessibility

St. Louis (April 4, 2022) Independence Center is in the process of creating a new ADA ramp to make its building more accessible to those with physical disabilities. This project is a direct result of the work happening from Independence Center’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) committee. “We want everyone who comes to our facilities to feel a sense of belonging,” said Trish Holmes, Executive Director of Independence Center. “Our Clubhouse model, which promotes those with mental illness to feel
