Independence Center Receives $30,000 Grant To Expand Its Occupational Therapy Services

ST. LOUIS – Independence Center is proud to announce that it has received a $30,000 grant from the Marillac Mission Fund for occupational therapy to support seniors aging in place. Independence Center Helps Form the First Ever Missouri Clubhouse Coalition

(ST. LOUIS – April 13, 2021) Independence Center, a St. Louis nonprofit dedicated to helping adults struggling with mental illness, is one of five accredited Clubhouse throughout the state of Missouri to form a Clubhouse Coalition.  This is a significant accomplishment that recognizes Independence Center for its model of psychosocial rehabilitation by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, the Missouri Behavioral Health Council, and Clubhouse International.
