Independence Center partners with St. Louis-area employers like Bethesda Health Group who provide meaningful job opportunities to adults living with severe and persistent mental illness. Steven Name is an Independence Center member currently working as a dining service aide at Bethesda Dilworth where he prepares and serves meals to residents. “Partnering with other nonprofits in our community to provide opportunities to those living with mental illness is rewarding. Independence Center has a unique and successful model of helping its members, and I am proud that Bethesda can assist,” says Joe Brinker, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bethesda Health Group.
